2022 Annual Trellis Lighting
The blue lights on the trellis will be turned on the Monday before Thanksgiving as they have been since 2003! Entertainment includes holiday sing-alongs and a visit from Santa Claus! Enjoy cookies, hot chocolate, and clam chowder.

Thanks to the generosity of our members and corporate sponsors, the Friends of Christopher Columbus Park with support from the City of Boston Parks and Recreation Department illuminates the trellis with blue lights from the end of November through the middle of April.
Thank you to the Boston Marriott Long Wharf for providing cookies and hot chocolate and Joe's Waterfront for delicious clam chowder to keep us warm!
The illuminated trellis has been named one of the "Ten Most Romantic Places in Boston" and year 'round it is the site of marriage proposals, wedding photos, and lovers kissing.
