Friends of Christopher Columbus Park

The Friends of Christopher Columbus Park (FOCCP) is an all-volunteer non-profit organization made up of North End and Waterfront neighbors whose purpose is to further the restoration, protection, preservation, care, enhancement, improvement, and maintenance of the Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park. The FOCCP work closely with the City of Boston Parks and Recreation Department to keep the park clean and well maintained.

Christopher Columbus Park is one of the gems of Boston. Located between the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway and the Boston Harbor, the uniquely designed 4 1/2 acres serve as a neighborhood park, a community gathering spot, the site of festivals, summer movie nights and art shows, a must-see destination for tourists from around the nation and around the world, and the conduit for those who are ferrying to the Harbor Islands, which are part of the U.S national park system.

This all-volunteer neighborhood group:
  • Provides funding for the Annual Trellis Lights
  • Maintains the Rose Kennedy Rose Garden
  • Purchases New Trees and Plants for the Park
  • Organizes the Fundraising & Park Events
  • And much more!
New Friends, Members and/or Volunteers are Always Welcome!

FOCCP is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) corporation and all contributions are tax deductible to the maximum extent allowed by law.
